JMAYERH ABOUT DIGITAL EXTENDED URBAN SPACE

 

Together with JMAYER we developed 2010 the stilwerk designboard a modular presentation platform
for stilwerk Berlin.
With its concept about future interaction of architecture, mobility, infrastructure, communication and digital
technology in cities 2030 the architecture office wins the Audi Urban Future Award 2010.

NEW ERA @ CIRCLECULTURE GALLERY

 

To the 90-year-old anniversary of New Era, 90 graduates of renowned design schools from London, Berlin and Paris were asked to redesign and interpret the classic cap model `NewEra 59FIFTY`. The results were exhibited through Europe. In Berlin, the exhibition stopped in our gallery.

WRITE ON AFRICA

 

One of our friends from Cape Town, Ricky Lee Gordon, recently produced this piece of film within his
project called "Write on Africa".

 

 

 

 

 


"Write on Africa" is a initiative that mobilizes creativity for inspiration, social change and urban rejuvenation. The aim is to to rejuvenate with color and inspire the youth, each other and ourselves. The artwork and projects we create are a window to the imagination for our audience young or old, this allows us to create a connection with and make difference in the communities we work in.

Write on Africa is a platform for artists to create the change they wish to see.

STILWERK AT ART BASEL MIAMI BEACH

 

We just came back from Miami where stilwerk presented the phantom table designed by GRAFT at the Design Miami. The presentation was a big success and the surrounding with all the happinings, talks and installation were very inspiring and mind blowing.

ELECTRA BICYCLE

 

Circleculture is in charge of guiding a pan-european community for the California based bike company called Electra.

We recruited and implemented 5 brand ambassadors through our key creative network and now working with them on local community marketing activities in providing new communication channels for the bike brand such as Hotel co-operations (i.e Hotel Amour in Paris), fashion shop co-operations (i.a cooperation with Goodhood in London) or placements in art and bar venues.

In Berlin we worked together with Reality Studio to support the first ever fashion show on bicycles:

MIKE MILLS

 

Mike Mills is an artist, graphic designer and film director.

In 1996 Mike co-founded The Directors Bureau with Roman Coppola, a multidisciplinary production company that also represents Geoff McFetridge, Shynola, Sofia Coppola, and Mark Borthwick. His commercial work includes international campaigns for clients such as Levis, Gap, Volkswagen, Adidas and Nike. Mike has directed many music videos for bands such as Air, Pulp, Everything but the Girl, Les Rythem Digitales, Moby, Yoko Ono and the Jon Spencer Blues Explosion. In 2005 he directed his first feature film Thumbsucker.

DOV CHARNEY

 

A formative encounter. Dov Charney is the president of one of the biggest american T-Shirt Manufactures: America Apparel. The company is guided in a very creative and ideological driven way. Dov Charney is "working against" all the conformistic business models. We met the "business man of the year" in his factory in East L.A at 2 a.m in the morning.

UNIQLO

 

We curated a t-shirt series for the japanese retail brand Uniqlo. The theme of the project was love and all artists where women originated from Berlin: i.e Chicks on Speed, My Monsters, Anna Blessmann, Cellina von Mannstein

Uniqlo is famous for their interactive campaigns (i.e the Uniqlock) and innovative store concepts (i.e. Soho in New York).

AARON ROSE

 

Aaron Rose is the godfather of the american street art movement.

He founded the Alleged Gallery in New York City in th 90 `ies as well as the Alleged Press and he is director of the documentary Beautiful Losers (this documentary follows the lives and careers of a collective group of Do-it-yourself artists and designers who inadvertently affected the art world.

Right now he works as a curator and artist as well as creative consultant.
In 2009, he was hired by Wieden+Kennedy to help create WKE (WKEntertainment), a content-driven entertainment channel and production house. At WKE, Rose is the producer of numerous television projects including Califunya, D.I.Y. America, and Don’t Move Here, which he also directs.
